RJ4All’s latest project aims to bring women from marginalised communities together to engage in FREE online sports classes
Every Friday at 13.15 – 14.00
We have evidence to believe that marginalised women in our area and especially those from Muslim communities are 89% more likely not to get engaged in sports or indeed pursue opportunities that will bring them together with other women from different cultural backgrounds. These barriers often relate to social and financial reasons including not being able to make practical arrangements that are aligned with their family lives and roles. This impacts their health outcomes while it creates barriers to increasing the cultural awareness of non-Muslim communities.
For all these reasons, this project has been put together to respond to our users’ call and needs, while bringing down the walls that are sub-consciously built and which create divisions, hate and inequality including health inequality.
